Our Pastor

On December 15th, 2021, OHBC called Justin Thurman to become our pastor. It is evident he has a great passion when it comes to preaching and sharing the Word of God with people, but he also has great desire to see people come to know and grow in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Justin was saved back in August of 2008 at 26 years old, and he later answered the call to preach in the year 2011. He has been faithfully serving the LORD in ministry in some capacity ever since. The Lord has given him a great heart for souls, a heart for serving in the local Church, and a heart to just be a help and a blessing to others.

With every good man stands a great woman, and Pastor Justin is blessed with a beautiful wife who loves the Lord, in Crystal. They have been married since February 14th, 2009. Crystal is a great blessing to our church family. She faithfully serves by playing the piano, singing, and helping out with the Ladies Ministry.

The Lord has blessed Pastor Justin and Crystal with two boys, Boston and Brayden. They enjoy going hunting, fishing, golfing, as well as watching football and baseball. We are so thankful for this family God has given our Church.

Our Youth Pastor

In April of 2022, Ben Howell stepped into the vital role as youth Pastor at OHBC. Ben has always had a great burden and passion when it comes to seeing young people come to Christ and develop a true walk with the Lord. He is excited about the great potential that can be realized when people meet the Lord and start living for Him at a young age. He is helped by his wife Angela, who also handles a lot of the social media and digital outreach for our church. They have 2 precious children of their own, Myles and Raegan Howell.
